my 30th may 2008
shiyt. wad happen to my header? why like chipsmore 1? sometimes you see it, sometimes you don’t. heh.
my interdisciplinary project week is finally over. am so glad. at 1st i thought it was gonna be a REALLY busy week (eg. working from morning til nite, no time for dinner/lunch, etc.) surprisingly, it was SO relax. we managed to do everything on time and even the presentation went well. unfortunately, we were 2 marks behind the group that came in 3rd. (but it doesn’t matter la, cos 3rd place also no hadiah. haha. sorry ks & speng! 
) but, the whole thing was alright though, at least my teammates were really great.
since yesterday was also the last day of the semester, the uni held the annual FINAL FLING; supposedly the most-lookin-forward-to event of the year. the event was a whole-day event where basically people just come in to socialize and drink the whole day. so, at 1st, i wanted to go, but when i found out that the entry fee was 15pound, i totally lose interest. and then, i was asked to work for the night shift. my initial reaction : YAY! i got the tshirt AND see the whole thing for FREE. but after doing several mistakes on the till and gotten angry shots by drunk customers, i just wish i didn’t have to work last night. i really hate berlagak and drunk customers la. HATE!! if not because i have to potray “excellent customer service” and get my salary, i really wanna scold them back la. they think so easy ah work at the bar at such busy times? go try la! and that stupid biatch who jeling-ed me, hello, your own accent tak betul don’t blame me for the wrong order k? bleh. some more had to walk around all night become glass collector also. and the floor was so sticky i think i spoilt my workin shoes already. (sigh. need to get a new 1 la after i come back from msia.) now i know, earning money IS not easy. so, i shall not spend unnecessary anymore after this. (i hope!) and today, i can’t go anywhere cos my feet hurts. 
and i’m also suppose to start packing already. waaa hate packing!

i don’t know if you’ve heard of him, or his band, manhand. honestly, i haven’t. (cos they sing in chinese and i don’t really listen to chinese songs.) i only got to know of their existence (him especially!) by accident after i came across this pic :

so i did a lil research and i found his blog. i can’t blog much about him yet cos i haven’t seen him doing his thang personally (hopefully the next time i go zouk he will be spinning la!) so, all i can say for now is, ahhhh he’s SO damn cute. haha.

mini makeover
as you already know by now, i still suck at this whole wordpress thingy. i spent the last 2 hours trying to get a new look for this blog and this is all i can manage. of all the others i’ve tried and checked out, i would consider this the best. and i know the font is a lil too small, but i really have no idea how to adjust it and i’m so sleepy already right now, so i’ll prolly continue tomorrow (if i’m not too busy with my interdisciplinary project la.) so please just bear with it for a while aight? thank you. 
what’s for dinner tonight?
TUNA PASTA BAKE!
ok, maybe it look just like normal pasta with tuna once i transferred it into the plate. but the taste was acceptable alright. i don’t exactly know how the pasta bake is supposed to turn out and i did a lil modification to the original recipe anyway. so here’s my version of the recipe if you would like to give it a go :
INGREDIENTS : 3 handful of spiral pasta, 1 can of tuna with mayonaise, pepper & sweetcorn, ½ cup of milk, more mayonaise, some parsley
DIRECTIONS : Cook pasta until soft. Once cook, mix the pasta with tuna in a baking dish. Blend milk, mayonaise and parsley until smooth. (unfortunately, i don’t have a blender, so i just mix em manually.) Pour over tuna mixture. Bake in preheated oven for about 15minutes. Stir before serving. (oops i think i forgot this step!) Makes 2 servings.

to go or not to go?
when miss preety 1st asked me about it, i flatly said no. cos i already have other commitment. which is way more important of cos. (and also the MAIN reason i stop over in kl 1st before heading back to kch.) but then, baby bro also said he MIGHT be going. (so how can every1 else be so happening except for me right? haha.) so i quickly checked out the event info, and it does seem pretty interesting. now am wonderin whether to go or not. nad went for it before and she said it wasn’t THAT fun, but she also said i should just go check it out. and since i AM in kl that weekend and if miss preety really MANAGE to get me tickets, then i shouldn’t waste the opportunity right? haiyo. see la, lil things like this also can make me in dilemma…sigh. haha.

…exam’s over! yay! if it’s not because of the 4-days interdisciplinary project week next week, i think now i would be transiting in dubai already. haha. but lookin on the brighter side, i’ll be comin home right the week after. which means, only 2 more weeks! double yay! but for the mean time, i’m bored to my wits! what to do leh the next 3 days? i don’t wanna go out cos i’ll end up shoppin for more unnecessary stuff. hmmm…so my only option is to watch more and more movies and tv shows online la. so sad right my life. even liquid wasn’t that fun anymore last night, so there’s really no point to go out and waste money also kan? owh ya, luckily i’m workin tonight. at least something to look forward to! i want more shift for the next few days pretty pls?

remember him? he used to be famous for his song called stolen and dance with you. (that’s how i know about him anyway.) so, he’ll be performin at bar beyond this friday, may 23rd. and i DID have this intention to go at 1st when i saw the guys promoting the event along northumberland st. the other day. not that i’m a fan, but he is pretty cute, don’t you think so? hehe. unfortunately, i’ve got to work. and obviously, i rather earn some kachings rather than spending em. so, sorry jay, i’ll have to pass this time! but for the rest of you who ARE interested and have nothin else to do now that exam’s over, click here for more info. enjoy!

i DO support msian film industry, ok?
i have a confession to make. i’ve been watchin impak maksima the series on tv3 all this while. for those of you who have totally no idea what the show is about, it’s actually malaysia’s version of initial d. in my opinion la. the movie first came out last year i think, sometime before i had to leave for the uk, so i didn’t have the chance to watch it. so last night i decided to search it on youtube, and i found it! like most other local production, the movie was full of lawak bodoh. (but it was hillarious la, i admit.) not THAT much drift action though. (so yea, i think their attempt to follow initial d kinda failed.) but the movie itself was not as interestin as the series lo i must say. (no wonder they decide to have the series then! haha.) the ONLY reason i watch it is because of awal anyway. *so handsome* ;P he’s the hottie who hosted one in a million with marion by the way. owh, and also cleo’s most eligible bachelor 2005. (i think.)

should we fight for something that we really want to have so badly? but how would we know if it is the RIGHT thing and it is worth fighting for? and how long should we fight for it OR when is it finally time to let it go? hmmm.
i should be thinkin about standard forms of contract and cost value reconciliation la instead of that thing. “dear thing, please get out of my head, shooh!”
