since i’m so free today, i have no other excuse NOT to write about malaysian night, so that’s what i’m gonna do for this post. wanted to go soooo badly cos i just wanna have an excuse to buy a new dress. even though the ticket cost me £15 ok. and some more we only purchased the ticket at the very last minute. actually they said if buy last minute, it would be £18 but since the people-in-charge were such darlings, they got us the £15 ones AND gave us the best table!

erm i don’t know how you guys end your sentences when sending smses to loved ones. or basically, just to anyone la. as for me, i always end em with “hugsss”. i don’t know why, i just like hugging i guess? haha. but i noticed people here, i don’t know if i should say everyone in great britain cos i don’t really have friends in other parts of uk, so let’s just say, the geordie (if you’re not familiar with this, i meant, people here in newcastle upon tyne, haha kan dah say the full name!) end their sentences with X or Xx. honestly if you ask me, i seriously don’t know what that means. short form for xoxo ka? i tried using it once (just to fit in la konon), but ended up with XXX and THAT definitely turned out looking sooooo wrong! haha.

i watch live boXing show last saturday. for free! eh wait it wasn’t exactly boxing, more to MMA. (actually i don’t really know what that abbreviation stands for, but i assumed it stands for Mix Martial Arts. feel free to correct me if am wrong!) you know like the ones we watched on tv, where the boxing ring is in the middle and everyone is sitting around the ring, cheering. or cursing. i don’t know why am telling this but i just think it’s kinda cool cos last time only can watch on tv and now i can actually watch it live. huhu. wanted to enjoy more of the show but unfortunately was too busy serving drinks haih and the supervisor keep on watching us to make sure we don’t forget to serve haih.

i don’t know when exactly is St. Patrick’s Day. all i know is am working for it tomorrow. owh wait i just googled it, it IS tomorrow. hehe. so, people, don’t forget to grab your pints of guiness tomorrow yar. if you’re in newcastle, i think there’s some sort of event going on at reds, so feel free to come and see me at work. haha. ok la, i have enough of these random ramblings already.

sigh. i memang not destined to see rihanna live in person is it. but i’m just wondering, since she’s so hawt and sexay, what will she be wearing to perform later ah? since malaysia always have this dresscode rule thingy for international artists having concert in the country. remember the one on avril? heh.

been trying to get hold of the tickets since last month i think, but they kept on putting NOT ON SALE yet. so fine i’ll wait, i thought. now, finally, they’re ON SALE, but unfortunately, the only tickets left now are the £70++ ones. (when i meant a bittt up there, i actually meant like few pounds more only mah) crazy ka weh? too expensive la for a concert. unless i get a backstage pass or a night out with the gurls ka, then maybe worth la. (but of cos that’s impossible la) so, SIGH, officially hating metroradioarena right now. why so expensive why???
if you’re not as kedekut as me, and you are INDEED their biggest fan ever (and if you’re in newcastle la, that is!), the dolls are performing at the metroradio arena, this 21st january at 7pm.

my halloween 08.
went to tiger tiger last night for halloween. had to queue up for almost an hour and paid 5pound for entry! once inside, it was so pack. there were many different rooms inside but it was still superpack. so you can imagine the crowd. music was just okay lo. overall, it wasn’t that fun. (hmm i’ve been really disappointed with all my last few night outs, is that a sign tellin me my time’s up? 0_o) somemore my feet hurt practically the whole night. cos i so eksyen wanna follow the angmos and wear heels to club. now i superregret it. i really salute them for being able to wear a much superhigh heel and still dance happily. they really bring out the true meaning of “beauty IS pain”.
++ i know i know, halloween is supposed to be scary, but so what, i like being different, hence the nurse outfit. LOL. ++
anyways, i’m off to berlin tomorrow. yay. then to manchester right after. weee so excited! will be back bloggin in a week time!

bits of everything
22.06.08 : went to bau (kpg singai to be exact, i think) for this gawai carnival thingy cos mummy was the head judge for this bidayuh public speakin. lol. i was so impressed by the guy who won cos his bidayuh memang damn good. i mean, if it was me, for sure i’ll mix lots and lots of english and malay. but his was really good la. memang berbaloi he won. and he’s only 16! there was also a model of bidayuh longhouse there. pretty. unfortunately, i didn’t get really good shots of it, just this few before my battery went kaput.
heh. erm what else? owh ya, there was also this show (or was it a competition? am not too sure…) on the process of how they padi is transform into beras. haha. but too many people mengeremuni em, so again, i could only catch a glimpse.
23-26.06.08 : i played tour guide to syin and her family. however, since i couldn’t get leave on mon and tues, i only brought them for dinner and some photo-taking sessions. got my leave on wed, so brought them to cat museum, damai and scv.
29.06.08 : us against the sun at permai.
29.06.08 at europe but 30.06.08 for us msians : euro 2008 finals. and spain won! yay! berbaloi juak i stayed up all this while and supported them.
02.07.08 : had dinner at hijau, bdc. erm pretty lil place but they should have more choice of food. and flat screen tv. ooo and shisha! then, it can be kch’s very own hartamas square. hehe. (btw, if you get a chance to go there, DO NOT order the nasi goreng pattaya. so tipu! it’s just nasi goreng with telur goreng k. cis.)

my 30th may 2008
shiyt. wad happen to my header? why like chipsmore 1? sometimes you see it, sometimes you don’t. heh.
my interdisciplinary project week is finally over. am so glad. at 1st i thought it was gonna be a REALLY busy week (eg. working from morning til nite, no time for dinner/lunch, etc.) surprisingly, it was SO relax. we managed to do everything on time and even the presentation went well. unfortunately, we were 2 marks behind the group that came in 3rd. (but it doesn’t matter la, cos 3rd place also no hadiah. haha. sorry ks & speng! 
) but, the whole thing was alright though, at least my teammates were really great.
since yesterday was also the last day of the semester, the uni held the annual FINAL FLING; supposedly the most-lookin-forward-to event of the year. the event was a whole-day event where basically people just come in to socialize and drink the whole day. so, at 1st, i wanted to go, but when i found out that the entry fee was 15pound, i totally lose interest. and then, i was asked to work for the night shift. my initial reaction : YAY! i got the tshirt AND see the whole thing for FREE. but after doing several mistakes on the till and gotten angry shots by drunk customers, i just wish i didn’t have to work last night. i really hate berlagak and drunk customers la. HATE!! if not because i have to potray “excellent customer service” and get my salary, i really wanna scold them back la. they think so easy ah work at the bar at such busy times? go try la! and that stupid biatch who jeling-ed me, hello, your own accent tak betul don’t blame me for the wrong order k? bleh. some more had to walk around all night become glass collector also. and the floor was so sticky i think i spoilt my workin shoes already. (sigh. need to get a new 1 la after i come back from msia.) now i know, earning money IS not easy. so, i shall not spend unnecessary anymore after this. (i hope!) and today, i can’t go anywhere cos my feet hurts. 
and i’m also suppose to start packing already. waaa hate packing!

when miss preety 1st asked me about it, i flatly said no. cos i already have other commitment. which is way more important of cos. (and also the MAIN reason i stop over in kl 1st before heading back to kch.) but then, baby bro also said he MIGHT be going. (so how can every1 else be so happening except for me right? haha.) so i quickly checked out the event info, and it does seem pretty interesting. now am wonderin whether to go or not. nad went for it before and she said it wasn’t THAT fun, but she also said i should just go check it out. and since i AM in kl that weekend and if miss preety really MANAGE to get me tickets, then i shouldn’t waste the opportunity right? haiyo. see la, lil things like this also can make me in dilemma…sigh. haha.

remember him? he used to be famous for his song called stolen and dance with you. (that’s how i know about him anyway.) so, he’ll be performin at bar beyond this friday, may 23rd. and i DID have this intention to go at 1st when i saw the guys promoting the event along northumberland st. the other day. not that i’m a fan, but he is pretty cute, don’t you think so? hehe. unfortunately, i’ve got to work. and obviously, i rather earn some kachings rather than spending em. so, sorry jay, i’ll have to pass this time! but for the rest of you who ARE interested and have nothin else to do now that exam’s over, click here for more info. enjoy!

Malaysian Night Ball 08, my say
i know it has been almost a week since the msian nite which was held last sunday, march 9th (and we even had the post-mortem meeting already!hehe.) and i HAVE been meaning to blog about it sooner…but i was just too lazy i suppose. now that i need to take a break from all these PFI thingy for my be896 coursework (honestly,i’ve not even started,i just finished watching the videos for it.lol.), i’ll fill you in with the details. :) i think the whole nite was a success and i hope every1 had fun, cos even though i had to run all over the place (that explains the not-so-many pics i had!), i sure did enjoy the whole event. food was definitely awesome, but just for the record, next time, i prefer the lights to be ON when i’m eating (i prefer to see what i’m about to consume into my mouth!). lurve elin’s indian dance especially. owh and the after-party afterwards at blu bambu, was conquered by i think 80%? of us from the event. hehe.
