woops i’ve been neglecting this blog once again! but am updating regularly on twitter ok. so, follow me there if you wish. like what mad honey said, it’s much easier to twitter anyway. but don’t worry, i’ll still try my best to update here once in a while ok?

so for the past three weeks or so, i’ve been busy layaning the two super VIP in my life; these two :

edinburgh (even though this was my second visit there, i still love that beautiful city!)

bath (it’s such a preety place also. but due to the shitty weather, it was quite difficult to explore around the city. -_-)

also, due to all those vacationing buzy-ness (eh got such word ka? haha.), i kinda forgotten a good friend’s birthday. (yes i know i deserve a slap in the face cos who forgets their good friends’ birthdays right. sigh.)

i was supposed to go out yesterday just to refund my dad’s shirt, but i ended up buying three dresses, a top and a pair of shorts. all for myself somemore. if i buy as gifts for people still ok right, but i just couldn’t resist em. and the best part was, they’re all on bargain. 5IVE items for just £44 ok. even after you convert, it only amounts to rm264. ok after convert it does sounds a lot, but nooo, in malaysia if you wanna buy good quality dresses, it would cost you more than that right?? ok ok, promise no more shopping for my own stuff after this.
and i got this two superawesome stuff when shopping with mummy and daddy dearest. a pink skirt worth £5 and a cute lil dress for £7 only! weeee summer sale rawks!
btw, you like my pink bedsheet or not? i like! hehe.

TRANSFORMERS 2 – superb superb movie!
so we went to watch this movie at the cinema sempena jeffrey’s birthday so if you’re wondering what does football jersey have to do with transformers, i don’t know either. we were just fulfilling the birthday boy’s wishes : to have his birthday theme as football and to accompany him to watch transformers.

owh and since we’re still in the topic of football, we did cupcakes for the birthday boy as well, who also happen to be a mega fan of liverpool. (so yea that explains the cupcakes!)

hmmm what else. ahhh. been having picnics as our weekly routine now and i’m now getting darker so i shall stop for the mean time. i love being under the sun i do but the aftermath is just not tolerable.

cupcakes made easy
if you don’t bake (like me!) cos you think it’s way too difficult and confusing, fret not, cos with this kit, even 5 year old kids can do it. (i think the kit IS meant for these kids anyways, don’t ask why we got it in the first place! huhu.)

++ barbie cute cupcakes (serious shiyt this is the name on the box, unfortunately i didn’t manage to capture it. haish!) ++
now lemme guide you how to make the perfect and easiest cupcake in the whole wide world.
step 1 : there are 2 flour mix in the box. take out the mix that says for the base (or something like that la…) and just mix it with some water.
step 2 : then, once ready, place em into their cups (is that what we call em ka?) and bake for *getreadyforthis* 15 mins ONLY. so fast kan?? weee. make me even more excited to bake weh.
step 3 : while waiting, we now take out the second mix and after you add some water, wala, it turned PINK! again, i was sooo excited when seeing this!! lol i really felt like a 5 year old then.
step 4 : need to add some butter too.
step 5 : fastforward to the 15th minute, wee the base are ready! and so is the pink icing thingy for decor.
step 6 : you are now ready to personalised your own cupcake. that moment it struck me that i really suck in art. this was how my cupcakes turned out. T___T
and these are everyone else’s. sigh. but it’s ok. cos ALL the cupcakes (including my ugly ones!) ended up in our stomachs anyways. hehe.

picnic in the park
happy easter people!
the weather was superbly fastastic (lol such a big word to describe kan but that’s cos it really was!) today so we decided to take it outside. haha. i mean went for picnic. [location : leazes park] we ate, played, slept, fed the swans, did bollywood slash baywatch moves (either la, i also not sure what we were trying to do) and of course took lots and lots of pics for the whole four and a half hours. so here are some of the shots from today :

painball
in life we have to challenge ourselves from time to time. even though you’re really not into that particular thing, but somehow, something, or someone might just influence you to do it.
i went to play paintball for the first time in my life the other day. i’m not an outdoor person. i don’t like running around and i don’t like tough, physical activities. the only reason i went was erm, like i said, we need to challenge ourselves from time to time. haha NOT. i have my own personal reason to go la actually. :p but anyway, i was pretty excited at first cos it does seem pretty fun. but after i started talking to the guys who have all played before, they kept on saying scary stuff which totally freaked me out! but since i’ve already paid anyway, i just go ahead and play la. some more until the last round ok, even though i almost gave up after my first lebam. T_T
all in all, paintball IS definitely fun. but a lot of running (which i totally don’t like!) and the gun is superheavy! (i think i got tired so fast not cos of the running, but carrying the gun.) owh and i remembered the paintball guy saying something like “i want you guys to go home with smile on your faces and bruises all over” and you know what, he was right. not exactly the smiling part for me la huhu but yea, i end up with FOUR ugly lebams on my left arm. tsk tsk.
++ that’s one of the four, and the biggest of em all! ++
so if you’re the kinda person who love tough activities and don’t mind enduring dirt and pain, this game is definitely for you!

hmm who would’ve expect it would still be snowing right? since most of the shops have already started selling bikinis and glads. (i really thought spring is coming early this year. heh.) unlike last year’s, where it only snowed like three times only and somemore so lil only, this year’s snow is superniceandthick. yay. i love snow. who cares if it’s superdupercold. if only they can be forever thick and white, cos i really hate the aftermath when all the snow starts melting; so wet and slippery. anyways, since it was so pretty outside this morrning (and who knows when else can i experience this again right?), we decided to redah through the snow and take some pics. we looked so sakai but who cares.

owh guiness!
you know what’s the coolest thing about dublin?
++ oo yea, it’s home for guiness alright! ++
i don’t like beer. if you’ve been paying attention to previous blogs, you would already have known this by now. the only reason i drank em was cos they’re really cheap, despite the fact that they’re superpahit. i’ve never tried guiness before so since most beers are pahit, and guiness is black, i’ve always assumed it to be the most pahit of all. unfortunately, i was wrong. after taking the first sip, i immediately fell in love. haha no la, i still won’t order it if there are other drinks available.
so what exactly is in store at the seven-floor storehouse? well, there’s a gift shop (obviously), a whole floor of materials and machineries used/slides/pictures/yadayada showing the process of brewing guiness, another floor exhibiting all different types of bottles and glasses used for serving guiness and a sampling section where you can try a half pint of fresh guiness.
but my favourites are floor 5 and 7.

after pulling the perfect pint, you go up to floor 7 where you can just enjoy your drink while relaxing, overlooking the city of dublin. (eh but from our seats, we only get the view of roofs. haih!) never have i felt so thrilled to have the sun glaring right into my face, but that time was the best feeling ok, since i’ve been deprived of the good ol’ warm and sunny weather for a long, long time.

we didn’t get to try any guiness cuisine at the storehouse itself cos there weren’t so much choice on the menu. so when we found this lil restaurant serving beef and guiness stew, we thought we’d give it a try.
++ tetapi tidak berapa sedap lo. (i think they forgot the guiness, can’t taste any!) ++
no wonder all the tourist information mentioned this as a must stop to visit in dublin. the entry is a wee bit pricey though, 11 euros, but i think it was definitely worth it.

manchester is not only the home of last season’s premier league champion (i hope i get it right, i’m really not a football fan!) but it is also the place for great MALAYSIAN food and shopping. i’m not kidding, seriously. check out all these mouthwatering food.

the trafford centre is totally heaven for shoppin i tell you. sarah and i actually spent the entire day there walking into almost all of the shops. if you didn’t get a chance to go there, don’t fret, cause the city centre itself has so many shops (including arndale centre) you don’t even know where to start! hehe. so, if you love yummilicious food and lovelovelove to shop, pick manchester as your next destination.
++ see i even got to taste my very first krispy kreme there! (so sakai!) ++
and obviously since you’re already there, why not go see for yourself the old trafford stadium?

not far from there, for another great shopping experience, drop by the lowry outlet mall where you have really good bargains on brands like nike, marks and spencer and even cadbury ok.
it was just a short weekend trip so that’s about it. but i’m so definitely gonna go there again.

berlin, germany
going to berlin really made me wanna read up on world history. why? cos i just realize how lil i know about berlin wall and world war II. hehe. but don’t worry, i won’t bore you guys with the history here cos i know you’re not interested. :)
i guess berlin is famous for its beautiful buildings, that’s prolly why we had the study visit there. erm i don’t remember most of their names though, cos they were in german, so please forgive me.
++ err really no idea what building this is. woops! ++
++ berliner dom a.k.a. berlin cathedral (huge and pretty church!) ++
++ olympic stadium where the erm world cup 2004 (was it? sorry, i don’t remember!) was held. ++
++ one of the few buildings that survived the war. you can even see the kesan! ++
++ i lurve this! each building got its own different design. ++
those are just the few that we went to la. besides buildings, the FOOD is also superb. but if you don’t eat pork, then my advice is “don’t go there” cos you’ll have hard time lookin for food. why? cos germans LOVES pork and everywhere you go, you’ll just find pork.
